FEATURED WATERFOWL MOUNTS

ABOUT BIRDMAN STUDIOS

My interest in birds began at a young age in Michigan, where I helped raise birds from all over the world in a private aviary. I loved to watch the birds, studying their positions, attitudes and habits.

When I moved to Colorado in 1978, I seriously started to put my years of study into action by painting and sketching birds, which finally lead to bird taxidermy.

I have since become an avid photographer in which I enjoy many hours in the Colorado outdoors. I have been fortunate to be able to work for several magazines which entails traveling around the globe capturing natures splendor as well as people and their culture.

Today, I still live in the southern mountains of Colorado with my wife Chris. I love what I do, as birds are the passion of my life.
I hope that I may get the opportunity to work with you on your special piece.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION

SHIPPING BIRDS

Shipping birds to my studio is both easy and cost effective. Place your bird in double plastic bags and keep frozen until shipping. When shipping to me, just place your plastic bagged bird into a small box of loose newspaper to both insulate and protect the bird during shipment.

Always ship out on Mondays or Tuesdays by UPS or FEDEX to insure no weekend layovers. Standard ground service is fine during the cold winter months. During the warmer summer months, 2nd Day Air is recommended. I will notify you by phone or email that your bird has arrived. Never use the Post Office.

All migratory birds such as ducks, geese, dove and woodcock must have the hunters full name, address and date of kill. This information must accompany your birds.

Please download this tag here and fill out correctly and completely. Feel free to print out this tag and send it with your birds.

I have secure shipping and boxing methods. I ship back your completed mount back to you by Fed Ex Ground Insured. Shipping cost vary depending on your location. You are only charged current/exact shipping / boxing.

Terms: I do not require a deposit. There is no need to secure payment info, until your bird is scheduled next to be mounted. When it is ready, I will photograph the piece and send you a copy by email. At that time payment is required and the bird will be shipped!

I accept Credit Cards, money orders and personal checks Speedee.
